Will Led Zeppelin reform for their 50th anniversary?

It's the question on everybody's lips - but one many people have been too afraid to ask Kidderminster rock god Robert Plant.

Until he popped into BBC Hereford & Worcester, that is.

"We're planning to get together and talk about it.

"It's very difficult to find stuff that still is unheard from such a long time ago.

"Not only will it be 50 years, but it will be 38 years since John passed away. There's really nothing been going on since then.

"There will be a book of photographs. Beyond that, musically, there's bits and pieces lying around - not an album, or anything like that.

"But there will be a celebration somewhere; a cork will pop!"

The story of Frank Freeman's, in Kidderminster, is being brought back to life in a new play on tour throughout Britain.

The Dancing Club, produced by Pippa Frith and written by Caroline Jester, is based around the remarkable and inspirational true story of Kidderminster legends Frank and Wynn Freeman and their selfless drive to get a town dancing.

Through the traditions of ballroom dancing to the explosion of rock and roll, northern soul and disco, the Kidderminster couple continued to inspire Kidderminster to move for more than six decades - with people learning the waltz, one night, and watching live music from Marc Bolan, Captain Beefheart and Led Zeppelin the next.

A young Len Goodman gave demonstrations and judged the dance students at Frank’s school.

It would eventually become the place John Peel would go on to hold a DJ residency, often playing recordings from the venue on his Radio 1 show.

Ledbury's India Parkman was born in Singapore, to a Chinese-Indian mother and British father, before moving to the UK at the age of three.

She started learning piano just 12 months later. She says "being a poor sight-reader, I learnt all my set pieces by heart and began to recreate songs I'd heard on the radio or TV by ear."

Soon she was experimenting with chord progressions and melodies and had written her first song.

Her influences include Coldplay, Adele and Lana Del Rey and India discovered a love for A capella while at university.

Britain's Got Talent star Charlie Green, from Droitwich, this week celebrates the end of a 37-date UK tour.

Charlie, who's been supporting Jimmy Osmond on the Moon River & Me tour, has just come back from the States where he's been performing in a theatre set up by the late Andy Williams.

Having just released his first original EP, Charlie will be performing his first-ever solo gig with an orchestra at Worcester's Huntingdon Hall on April 6.

The Weeping Window display of poppies have been unveiled at Hereford Cathedral - but did you know that the writer of two of the most famous songs sung in the First World War trenches went to school just yards away?

The ceramic poppy sculptures were first displayed at the Tower of London where 888,000 flowers were displayed - one for every British or Colonial life lost at the Front during the First World War.

Danny Weatherly was one of the soldiers who died in action - his father Fred Weatherley wrote Danny Boy for him and was also the man behind Roses of Picardy, a song used to help the troops to recover from trauma.
