18-year-old Kim, from Bromsgrove, started her singing career recording covers on YouTube and Facebook, which started to get her noticed.
She's now concentrating on writing her own songs and has started performing live and has twice been awarded the coveted BBC Introducing Track of the Week.
Her focus is on a modern soul/reggae style and has been described by Andrew Marston as "beautiful songwriting, with one of the most soulful voices around".

Antique Christmas

BBC antiques experts have swapped their auction house gavels for microphones to produce a Christmas single in aid of BBC Children in Need.
James Braxton, Charles Hanson, Charlie Ross and Worcester's Philip Serrell, who star in Antiques Road Trip, Bargain Hunt and Flog It!, are bringing Christmas cheer to the UK with their 2017 single, Sleigh Ride.
You can download the single now from iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, Google Play, 7 Digital, Napster and Deezer.
All profits from Sleigh Ride will go to the charity, with a minimum of 50p from each single sale.

Christmas song: Steve Attridge & The Sleeping Giants

Evesham's Steve Attridge has recruited a variety of musicians from different genres to complete "The Sleeping Giants".
Their latest track is a family Christmas song that Steve wrote with his wife Andrea for their children William and Georgia.
They decided it was good enough to record and recruited Vince Freeman (star of The Voice) on vocals and the amazing Patsy Gamble on sax to help complete the recording.
They say: "It's been a while since we have heard a decent Christmas song so this is our attempt to come up with one!"

Christmas song: TheCfShow

Chloe Ferguson is a 24-year-old songwriter from North Wales who now lives in Stourport with her parents, after they relocated to Worcestershire for work.
Chloe, who was home-schooled, wrote her first songs when she was just five - sometimes in English, other times in Welsh.
She's an ex-introvert and says she can only confront people in songs, but she has done modelling and acting as well!
Her influences include Coldplay, Maroon 5, Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne, Christina Perri, Vanessa Carlton and Katy Perry.

Christmas song: Malvernbard

The same songs and stories come around each Christmas time - but a Worcester man, with experience in both of those, is getting in on the action to bring something new to the table!
The Principle of the Swan Theatre School, Nick Wilkes, has reams of play and panto experience and is now promoting a Christmas song online.

Ed Sheeran's guitar

A Worcestershire hospice has been given an early Christmas present - by selling Ed Sheeran's guitar for £4,500.
The singer donated the signed guitar to St Richard's in Worcester after they looked after someone he cared about.
The hospice put the instrument up for auction and say it'll make a big difference to the work they do.

Switching on the Christmas Lights

Thousands of people gathered to see the Christmas lights being switched on in Worcester, at the end of November, by BBC Hereford & Worcester - and we chose the music!
Tazmin Barnes, Chloe Elliot, KIM and JR Hopkins joined Elliott Webb, Malcolm Boyden, Pudsey and the Mayor of Worcester to officially launch the festive season, which sees many of the shops open until 8pm every Thursday night until Christmas.
All four acts performed a number of tracks they uploaded to bbc.co.uk/introhw and an 'alternative' Christmas cover as we count our way down to the big day.

New organ

What do you want for Christmas? Well, Pershore Abbey is to have a new organ!
It'll fill the void left by the Walker-Nicholson instrument, which would have been played by Sir Edward Elgar, which was lost to the Abbey long ago.
The Italian maker Fratelli Ruffatti will build the new instrument - only the second one they have supplied to this country - the other is being installed at Buckfast Abbey in Devon.
We hear how the Abbey managed and ask how an Italian organ will sound in a very English church.

Choristers at Christmas

A teenage chorister gave the performance of a lifetime, this week, when he sang the music to the film The Snowman to a full Worcester Cathedral.
13-year-old Daniel Munn appeared alongside an orchestra as the film appeared on a big screen.
All three concerts were sold out.
But what is life like as a chorister at Christmas? We've been to find out!
