24-year-old Devon Mayson is an Evesham-based country singer/songwriter, who's originally from the east of England.
In 2015, she was crowned as Miss Essex, and has recently returned from a six-week European tour with Nashville's Caitlin Koch.
Influenced by Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, The Dixie Chicks and Fleetwood Mac, it was a real pleasure to welcome her to this year's Lakefest at Eastnor Castle.
“Beautiful songs from an artist who’s been our BBC Introducing Track of the Week on so many occasions” - Andrew Marston.

This September, for the first time ever, BBC Music Introducing partnered with PRS Foundation to bring some of the UK’s best emerging talent to Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg.
Now in its tenth year, the festival is one of Germany's largest, featuring a wide-ranging events programme across more than 50 venues.
BBC Introducing was there at Nochtspeicher on the 21 September with four of the finest up-and-coming artists the UK has to offer, as selected by Radio 1's Huw Stephens.

Highlights: The Birmingham Velo

15,000 cyclists took to the streets of Worcestershire, West Midlands and Shropshire in the Birmingham Velo, last Sunday.
Hundreds of spectators lined the 100-mile route, cheering on the riders who had travelled far and wide to take part.
But the day wasn't just about the cycling. The Gardener's Arms, in Droitwich, embraced the event and put on a whole day of entertainment for the local community.
From midday, there was live music from local DJs and singers, including Clyde Spencer (who was born in Brooklyn) and now living in Droitwich who was once in the American Drifters.
He tell us his story of fame and fortune and offers top advice for up-and-coming musicians.

Droitwich's V2A in Hollywood

V2A, who are from Ombersley, regularly tour Europe and America performing in front of thousands.
As well as playing the Mad Max-themed event, they've also played at the Globe Theatre in Hollywood, this week.
The group, which has been going since 2001, are signed to a German record label and will be performing at Comic Con in Manchester later this year.

Highlights: Modern Romance at Upton Festival

The original Modern Romance got together in the early 80s. Their first chart success was in the Summer of '81, with Everybody Salsa, and in 1982 they reached their highest chart position with Best Years Of Our Lives. After 20 top twenty singles, they split up in 1985.
Andy Kyriacou reformed the band in 2001 when the 80s revival scene was taking off and began to take on the festival circuit. The band performed alongside Blue, Sophie Ellis-Bexter, Atomic Kitten and Paul Young at this year’s Upton Festival - and we’ve been getting his top tips for those just starting out.
