BBC CWR SpecialWhen the Fuhrer's friend came to stayRugby Theatre

Members from Rugby Theatre came to bring some of the characters to life. Telling the story of Margaret Laidlaw, who as a child lived in a Rugby vicarage with Unity Mitford, the controversial British woman who was a very close friend of Adolf Hitler.

  • Ruth Long played the part of Unity Mitford
  • Jim Finch played the part of Margaret's father, Reverend Fredrick Sewell Corby
  • Emma Marshall played the part of Mrs Corby
  • Daisy and Livvy provided the voices of young Margaret and her younger sister
  • Rugby Theatre
