Spirals is the brainchild of Leominster singer/songwriter John Aziz.

However, for the last few years, he's been suffering from a form of ME therefore hasn't been able to perform on the gig circuit for the past five years.

But hIs love of playing guitar, piano, drums and bass has helped him through, so we welcome him back to the live scene!

Team GB

Team GB

When we received the following email from fitness trainer Alex Joseph, we just had to go and meet him:

"I recently spent several months working with the GB women's basketball squad based out of Worcester University.

"The head coach and players really inspired me to build on their team slogan 'GB365' as they commit to their goal of medalling at the Paralympic Games in 2016, so I wrote them a track and performed an acoustic version to them before the world champs this year.

"They really embraced it and are fully behind being part of a song that looks to inspire people to maximise their potential and embrace Paralympic sport."

Well, Alex has now been asked to perform his biggest gig to date - on stage at the 02 Arena in London!

BBC Introducing in Leominster

BBC Introducing in Leominster
Way back in the summer, at the end of our festival coverage, we put an appeal out online asking for music venues to get in touch if they were interested in hosting a BBC Introducing recording session.

We were absolutely inundated - and throughout the first few months of 2015, we're going to as many towns and cities as we possibly can before the festival season hits again!

One such place that invited us along was The White Lion in Leominster - a traditional pub with oak beams and an open fire - and that's where our live sessions come from this January.

Check out which festivals we're going to be at in 2015...

Remi Harris

Remi Harris

Bromyard's Remi Harris is an exciting young guitarist and composer, who's widely regarded as one of the UK's top gypsy jazz guitarists.

As well as doing live sets for BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 2, he's also performed for the staff Christmas party at Buckingham Palace!

Last week, he was on In Tune over on BBC Radio 3 talking about his love of music and inspirational characters such as Django Reinhardt.

BBC Introducing...in Worcester

BBC Introducing...in Worcester

BBC Introducing supports the very best unsigned, undiscovered and under-the-radar musicians.

Every month, we take the show on the road to showcase some of the very best acts from our area.

On Sunday 1 February, we'll be rolling up to The Marr's Bar in Worcester to record four acts who we've been playing on BBC Hereford & Worcester recently.

We'll bring the bands - all we need now - is the fans!

None of these artists knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they uploaded to us.

So if you'd like to Be Part Of It then simply turn up on the day - it's free to get in - but you must be prepared to make lots of noise for local music!

Acts confirmed include Hussc, Quarter Stone, Das Sexy Clap and Puma Creek.

The first act is on at 7pm - but you're more than welcome to turn up any time until 10pm.
