Those Frail Few
Tenth anniversary

In 2014, we continued to take the show on-the-road to some of the biggest events and most happening places in Herefordshire & Worcestershire.
This week, hear some of the sessions we recorded at KJM Studios in Hereford, Death Or Glory Records in Redditch, The White Lion in Leominster and on stage at SnodFest and Nozstock.
All of our live studio sessions and festival gigs since 2005...
In session

Graeme Spenser Hughes is a singer/songwriter from Worcester influenced by artists such as Morrissey, Bob Dylan and Chip Taylor.
He used to be in a band called The Family Trait which took him to London.
But he's back on the local music scene and is joined by a number of special guests who he's met along the way!
The Voice

Saturday saw the return of The Voice on BBC One, but already the show has been clouded in controversy, after the four judges: Rita Ora, Ricky Wilson, will.i.am and Tom Jones turned down the chance to take on one of Worcester's finest.
Rock singer Matt Eaves' audition aired on Saturday night and, though his rendition of House of the Rising Sun got his family cheering, none of the judges went for it.
Meet our other local success story, Becky Hill...
Reviews

This week, Andy O'Hare reviews...
- Lewis Boulton, Glyn & Fiona P, Lady and The Sax & Red Dawe at The Great Malvern Hotel
- Tyler Massey, Mal Edgson, Carol Lee Sampson & Dyna-Mic at West Malvern Social Club
- Luke Leighfield, Skewwhiff & Mark Morriss at The Cube in Great Malvern
New Album

The Rhythm Thieves are launching a new album this January.
They played festivals all over the region in 2014 - their 18th year together - including a support slot to The Blockheads.
However, they have broken Andy O'Hare's cardinal sin of recording in the kitchen!

BBC Introducing in Leominster

We were absolutely inundated - and throughout the first few months of 2015, we're going to as many towns and cities as we possibly can before the festival season hits again!
One such place that invited us along was The White Lion in Leominster - a traditional pub with oak beams and an open fire - and that's where our live sessions come from this January.
Features

In this week's news: The worcester singer/songwriter attracting hits on YouTube for a song penned in the aftermath of last week's terror attacks in France.
We'll also have your gig guides for Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
Sir Edward Elgar

The music of Herefordshire & Worcestershire's most famous resident, Sir Edward Elgar, has helped a choir hit the right note at a special prom at the Royal Albert Hall to commemorate the First World War.
Gareth Malone's Military Wives choir chose to perform the piece "The Snow" in the concert, which was shown in a two-part BBC documentary.
Read about Elgar's legacy on the BBC Hereford & Worcester website...
BBC Introducing...in Worcester

BBC Introducing supports the very best unsigned, undiscovered and under-the-radar musicians.
Every month, we take the show on the road to showcase some of the very best acts from our area.
On Sunday 1 February, we'll be rolling up to The Marr's Bar in Worcester to record four acts who we've been playing on BBC Hereford & Worcester recently.
We'll bring the bands - all we need now - is the fans!
None of these artists knew they were being considered for a live session - they were chosen based on the tracks they uploaded to us.
So if you'd like to Be Part Of It then simply turn up on the day - it's free to get in - but you must be prepared to make lots of noise for local music!
