This year, in Bangladesh, four atheist internet bloggers have been brutally murdered by men with machetes, apparently for challenging religious belief. The suspects are all Islamic extremists. The killings follow a polarised online debate between atheists and Islamists. As the Editor of BBC Trending, Mukul Devichand, reports the mood now amongst bloggers is a mixture of fear and defiance.
