A man believes he has the power to “shout” people to death.

Charles Crossley is convinced he can split their souls into pieces.

During a country cricket match between the patients of the psychiatric hospital where he resides and the local villagers, Charles tells the story of his magical powers.

He also reveals the effect it had on a local couple, Richard and Rachel, who inadvisedly invited him to their home.
