Parents go bargain-hunting with their grown-up kids at a huge antiques fair in the East Midlands. Christina Trevanion is at the helm, alongside experts Izzie Balmer and Nick Hall.
Christina Trevanion has her mystery item all wrapped up. It’s rectangular and made of pine with three spindles, but can fairgoers guess what it is? While the punters ponder its purpose, two teams of two generations shop for bargains at a bustling antiques fair in Staffordshire. On the red team are mum and daughter Anita and Lauren. This active pair are on the hunt for sporting items to complete their challenge. In blue are dad and son, and music fans, Matt and James. With expert Nick Hall by their side, the blues wonder if a pair of cast-iron garden urns will grow them a profit. Meanwhile, the reds get into the swing of their shop with a 1970s golfing trophy. At the auction in Derby, expert Izzie Balmer has a risky bonus buy, while Nick puts his faith in the old adage that novelty sells.
