Island life continues for interior designer Banjo Beale and his husband Ro, who remain determined to transform their island home. However, recent works have left large sections of the house without a roof, with a storm due to arrive.

Banjo sets his sights on the elegant drawing room and dreams of turning it into a sumptuous orangery. His vision aims to preserve the faded and worn walls exactly as they are and to seal in the decay’ Wanting to honour the history of the house, Banjo seeks guidance from island elder Barry. A tough nut to crack, Barry’s approval won’t come easily - can Banjo and Ro surpass his exacting standards at the new room’s first high te’ in a generation?

With work under way, Banjo heads to the annual Mull Flower Show in search of botanical glory and making his first appearance since being disqualified a decade ago. Banjo strides into the hall, overflowing with Mull’s finest vegetables and blooms, seeking redemption. His confidence evaporates the moment his old rival, Mary, makes a surprise appearance. A decorated champion of the show, Mary is the very person Banjo blames for his downfall all those years before. What follows is a floral showdown with a shocking result that leaves Banjo floored. But out of the ashes comes a renewed determination, and Banjo rallies reinforcements to ensure his bouquets at Ulva House are the finest in the Hebrides.

As the blooms are meticulously placed, the orangery begins to take shape, but then the forecasted storm suddenly strikes and is much more powerful than anyone expected. Within minutes, water is pouring through every gap and gutter, threatening to undo months of graft and every penny Banjo and Ro have sunk into the old house. Can they stop the water before it washes away their renovation and their dream?
