Bids to Bless a Bride's Big Day
Bee uncovers a hidden haul of silver, and JJ rescues a billiard table, to help fund a fine Glasgow wedding celebration.
Auctioneer Bee and restorer JJ travel to Glasgow to help a couple desperate to declutter their beloved family home brimming with three generations of collectibles.
Elaine and Alan moved into her parents’ home after marrying in the 1980s, raising their family on the converted top floor while her parents lived below. It was the perfect arrangement. Now that the children have grown up, and both grandparents have sadly passed away, Elaine and Alan need Bee and JJ’s help to let go of many collectibles and raise funds for a very special occasion – their daughter’s wedding, due to take place in one year’s time in the garden.
Bee has her work cut out, rummaging through rooms and unearthing a hidden collection of silver that has been gathering dust for years. She also finds a collection of Elaine’s dad’s golf memorabilia and some well-worn and well-loved bergère furniture, which is still on trend!
At his workshop, JJ also plays ball when restoring a tatty billiards table and discovers it was the centre of family fun when Elaine’s parents threw parties. Could JJ’s full makeover make it a talking point once again?
Come auction day in Dunfermline, Bee feels the pressure when wielding the gavel, and Elaine and Alan have high hopes. Can JJ and Bee raise enough money to fund a champagne toast to the bride and her groom from her dearly departed grandparents on her special day.
