Episode 14

The final four celebrities cook a dish dedicated to someone special, after which four become three and the remaining finalists are challenged with serving out-of-this-world cuisine at Chef’s Table.

The finals continue, and four become three, meaning one more celebrity will be leaving when they are just a hair’s breadth away from triumph. The remaining contenders will be thrown into one of their most challenging situations yet - serving out-of-this-world cuisine at Chef’s Table.

Judges Grace and John welcome the final four with a task that is sure to make emotions run high. The brief is to cook a dish dedicated to someone special. This could be the love of their life, someone who has inspired them, or someone they hold dear to their heart. Whatever the story, this dish must let the judges feel that emotion whilst also tasting great food that looks the part. After what is likely to be a tricky deliberation, the judges have their most difficult decision yet: choosing this year’s final three.

Those lucky enough to be picked will have little time to let it sink in, as they will head straight to Lichfield in Staffordshire for their next assignment, the daunting Chef’s Table, which this year is being held at The Boat, a three-rosette restaurant led by chef patron Liam Dillon. The celebrities won't know what has hit them, as the food here is being created by a true master of his craft. Liam started his training with none other than Marcus Wareing and went on to work in some of the finest restaurants in the world, including Noma in Copenhagen and Eleven Madison Park in New York – both of which have three Michelin stars.

The final three must focus, as they will each be cooking one of Liam’s modern British dishes for six chefs who are also at the top of their game: Lisa Goodwin-Allen, Sat Bains, Paul Ainsworth, Chet Sharma, David Taylor and Chantelle Nicholson. There are five more Michelin stars in that dining room, which will surely add to the already heightened anxiety in the kitchen.

Three hours are all that the celebs have to prep and cook plates of food that would leave professional chefs quaking in their boots.
