Christmas Special - Newark 23

It’s the most wonderful time of the year - for bargain hunting! Danny Sebastian and his naughty helper Elfred serve up a festive edition of the antiques game show from Newark antiques fair, while Roo Irvine and Caroline Hawley gift their expert knowledge to two teams of Christmas shoppers, friends Tina and Ali in red and Vinny and Michael in blue.

As the clock ticks down, the reds ponder a roar-some-looking vintage lion, but Roo’s concerned about the lack of a maker’s mark. Across the fair, the blues fancy a spin on an old penny-farthing bicycle – until they learn it costs a pretty penny and it’s already sold!

Between the bargains, Danny tucks into the history of Christmas classics – mince pies and Christmas puddings – with cook Mary Bird, and at the auction, there’s an extra serving of festive fun as James Lewis tries to hammer out profits for the teams.
