Christmas Special - Newark 22

Santa sends his naughty helper Elfred to join Danny Sebastian in presenting this fabulously festive episode of the show. Ho-ho-hoping to unwrap plenty of profits are two teams of Christmas shoppers, and gifting their expert knowledge are Roo Irvine and Caroline Hawley. In red are in-laws Gary and Riah. Sisters Claire and Jill are in blue.

With £300 in their pockets, the teams scour the stalls of Newark antiques fair, searching for bargains to sell at auction. At one stall, the reds find a set of jade and diamond earrings that would be perfect to wear at a Christmas party – until they spot the eye-watering price tag!

Meanwhile, the blues prove they have equally expensive tastes when they spot an art nouveau vase and its three-figure ticket. Away from the fair, Danny visits Estelle Bilson, whose terraced house is transformed every year into a winter wonderland festooned with decorations – some date back to the late 1800s! After a busy shop, the teams head to Derbyshire, where they receive a warm seasonal welcome from bidders in James Lewis’s saleroom.
