Clearshot and At the Drive-in
Cahir O’Doherty from Clearshot talks about supporting At the Drive-in in Belfast.
Iconic and hugely influential El Paso 5-piece At the Drive-in played the Empire Music Hall in Belfast in December 2000. It was arguably the most anticipated live show that year and has since gone down in Northern Irish music folklore. They were supported on the night by the Murder City Devils from Seattle and Clearshot from Derry. Cahir O’Doherty (Fighting With Wire, Jetplane Landing and New Pagans) was the lead singer of Clearshot and he talks about the atmosphere and the impact of that legendary show. There is also music from PJ Harvey, Queens of the Stone Age, Our Krypton Son and Jetplane Landing.
