Ben Miller on The Night I Met Father Christmas, new Scottish music from Ant Thomaz and Beyond Monet

Ben Miller talks about the picture book adaptation of his bestselling children's book The Night I Met Father Christmas and Professor Frances Fowle reviews Beyond Monet.

Ben Miller talks about the picture book adaptation of his bestselling children's book The Night I Met Father Christmas, his love of the Christmas season, his realisation that children only care about the quality of the children's story an author writes, not celebrity status, and appreciating the art of illustration.

Professor Frances Fowle, who was curator of the National Galleries of Scotland for two decades, reviews Beyond Monet and compares the immersive experience to the Beyond Van Gogh exhibition, speaks about the positives and criticisms of the experience, and why she thinks Impressionism was the right period of art to face this immersive treatment. She also speaks about the history of Van Gogh and Monet and why they are so accessible today, and encourages listeners to go and find the original paintings in the Galleries.

Ant Thomaz introduces his new single Flying, which Len adds to her weekly Arts Mixtape, speaks about his range of influences and collaborating with his wife Frances.
