Comedian and Strictly champion Chris McCausland is on a mission to discover the future of technology and what it might hold for him personally.

Chris has a degenerative condition which led him to gradually lose his eyesight from birth, and by his early twenties, he was completely blind. This led Chris to his unique relationship with technology. Whereas for many sighted people, innovations such as the iPhone and voice-controlled smart assistants are nice things to have, for Chris, they have been life-changing.

From driverless cars to AI and smart glasses, Chris is keen to find out what the future might hold for him. He travels to Silicon Valley and Boston’s Massachusetts Institute of Technology, exploring how cutting-edge technology could transform his life even more.
