Scotland: Glasgow
The BBC's biggest comedy talent search heads to Glasgow, where five comics compete in another heat to bag their place in the grand final.
We head to Glasgow’s iconic Barrowland Ballroom, which has hosted some of the biggest musicians in the world, including Oasis, Bob Dylan and David Bowie. Five acts take to the stage in front of a packed house as they hope to wow the judges and earn their place in the final at Bradford City of Culture’s Alhambra Theatre.
Glaswegian stand-up comedian Christopher MacArthur-Boyd is our host. Joining him are the three judges - former NCA finalist Daniel Foxx, local stand-up comic Susie McCabe and head judge Fatiha El-Ghorri.
Ayo Adenekan, Alan Jay, Kate Dolan, Calum Frost and Joe da Costa perform their five-minute sets for our judges, but only one can go through to the final in November.
