Leopard Olimba finds a mate, but fortunes turn against the lions. Extreme flooding leads to disaster for the hyena clan, and the time has come for leopard Mutima to leave.
In a land of extreme seasons and intense rivalry, motherhood is the greatest trial females in Nsefu face. Lioness Rita is raising the next generation, but caring for her cubs alone leaves them vulnerable while she hunts. The hyenas’ strength is growing, but a flooded den spells disaster, and the clan become separated. Their leader Tenta must protect her twins as they navigate the watery labyrinth to find the rest of their scattered family. Seeking a mate, leopard Olimba begins a new chapter, but in her way is her daughter – she has now become her main rival, and only one can remain.
