Sara Mohr-Pietsch embarks on a musical journey from boozy taverns to snowy wastes, towards the second movement of Schubert's Piano Trio No. 2 in E-Flat Major - one of the composer's final works before he died.

Along the way, we'll meet some of the other composers who died young, including Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor. We'll also discover where Baroque chamber music intersects with jazz, and explore the sounds of Schubert's Vienna with Johann Schrammel and Ludwig van Beethoven.
