Day 2 Highlights

The world’s fastest men and women in the world are on the track as Sarah Mulkerrins presents highlights of a busy second day of the World Athletics Championships from Tokyo. It’s the finals of both the men and women’s 100m, with Noah Lyles, Julien Alfred, Dina Asher-Smith and Zharnel Hughes all aiming for a place on the podium. Three other world champions will be crowned in the men’s 10,000m, the women’s discus and the women’s long jump, and we’ll reflect on the women’s marathon from earlier in the day.
