Coverage continues of the evening session of day 2 of the World Athletics Championships, with five gold medals on offer.
After over a year out through injury, Jazmin Sawyers will be aiming to make the women’s long jump final, and there will be a new world champion in the men’s 10,000m as Uganda’s Joshua Cheptegei won’t be in Tokyo to challenge for a fourth title in a row.
Then, the fastest man and woman in the world will be crowned, with the finals of the 100m finishing off the second day's action. Noah Lyles, Julien Alfred, Dina Asher-Smith and Zharnel Hughes will all be in the mix for a place on the podium.
