With a storm battering the south coast of England, a windsurfer is in trouble. The Portsmouth crew have to decide whether it’s even safe for them to launch.

With Storm Eunice - and its 100 mph winds - battering the south coast, the Portsmouth crew have to decide whether they can even launch to a windsurfer in trouble. Once they’re on the water, the situation escalates when it’s reported that the casualty doesn’t have his diabetes medication with him.

In Skerries, on the east coast of Ireland, a husband watches on as his wife struggles on her kayak. When the crew race to her rescue, they discover her in the water and close to exhaustion.

The Exmouth crew find themselves in danger when they attempt to rescue a female wing foiler who’s trapped in the surf line. And in Sussex, Selsey’s all-weather lifeboat faces a real challenge in rescuing a yacht with rigging failure out in the English Channel.
