The Monuments Men

In 1943, as the Allies make good progress driving back the Axis powers in Italy, Frank Stokes leads an army unit tasked with searching for looted art and returning it to its rightful owners.

He recruits his unit of 'Monuments Men' from European and American, who between them have zero military experience but are prepared to risk their lives to ensure that these artistic treasures are preserved.
