Feed the Minds
Feed the Minds is an international development charity, working with local partner organisations on education projects in Africa and Asia that reach women and people who have been marginalised. They have often missed out on school or training opportunities due to extreme poverty, conflict, or discrimination. We are currently working in eight countries and have worked in over 46 during our 56-year history. We strive to enable people and communities to improve their own lives through education. With a project funded with UK aid from the UK government,
we are enabling women and people living with disabilities to increase their
incomes and access to food in Mvolo County, South Sudan
Aziza’s story

Aziza (pictured) who features in our Radio 4 Appeal, is now taking part in a project in South Sudan which will enable her to increase farming knowledge, improve her access to food and generate a small income. Since being involved in one of our projects, food security for participants has increased by 80%.
Distribution of food and seeds in Sierra Leone

We are enabling women farmers living in marginalised communities to improve their financial security and resilience.
Women's social enterprise in Uganda

We are providing training that will enable women to produce reusable sanitary pads, improve their knowledge of, and access to safe menstrual health information and sanitary products.
