Tension mounts at Home Farm and Phoebe faces a crisis.

Phoebe’s ready to welcome the first wild camping visitors. Roy visits her in the converted shepherd’s hut they’ve set up as a reception office, and wishes her luck. Phoebe’s irritated with his excessive attention but Rex feels she’s lucky he takes an interest. Rex thinks the site gives off a good vibe. All’s well until they realise neither of them have taken delivery of the solar lights for the compost loos; the company can’t come back with them until tomorrow. They’re stumped until Rex suggests asking Roy for help. Sure enough Roy comes up with a contact who can lend them a solar generator and some LEDs. Phoebe really appreciates her dad’s help. The two of them have a father daughter moment.
The atmosphere between Brian and Adam is arctic. Adam attempts a half-hearted apology for his misdemeanour, but Brian’s unimpressed. Later Adam informs Brian he’s paid the borrowed money back into the farm account. Now that’s he’s apologised he queries Brian’s own behaviour. Brian in turn says he’ll forgive but not forget. The two lock horns again, Adam insisting there should be nothing to forgive and Brian continuing to blame Adam for helping himself to money without telling anyone. Adam accuses Brian of favouring his other siblings and not listening to him. Brian asserts he does listen – he’s just not sure he can always believe him. Adam’s sick of being where he’s not wanted. Brian suggests he leaves in that case. In this time of difficulty, he needs a farm manager he can rely on, and that’s not Adam.
