There’s tension at Greenacres, and Phoebe finds herself losing control.

Phoebe’s cracking the whip with Rex, who she feels is too preoccupied with his own affairs and should be focusing on the rewilding and their meeting with Brian. Brian mentions Peggy’s concern over Pip’s withdrawal from the project, which irritates Phoebe. He also raises the fact that the rewilders’ camping idea could impact on Spiritual Home. Phoebe feels patronised when her granddad offers his expertise in advising the project on cattle. To her dismay Rex agrees with Brian, and accepts Brian on board with enthusiasm.
Jim and Alistair have pulled out the stops for tonight’s dinner with Jazzer and his guest Jade. However when she arrives her directness throws Jim, and even Jazzer has cause to pull her up on her comments. Her protestations that she’s just joking are a bit thin for Jazzer; these are his friends. Really – they’re making him old before his time, remarks Jade. Jim’s unable to hold back and lets it be known he’s aware Jade thinks he’s cramping Jazzer’s style. When Jazzer leaves the room the comments get out of hand and he returns to find insults being hurled both ways. Jade leaves in disgust. Jazzer knew this dinner was a bad idea. Jim insists he only objected when Jade was insulting Jazzer himself. Jazzer retorts that he and Jade joke around, that’s what they’re about. He’s disappointed; he thought they were a team at Greenacres. But he doesn’t need their approval.
