The last year changed Alex and Robyn Mearns’ perspective on their life in suburbia, and how they want to raise their two daughters. Alex wishes to balance working from home with the benefits that come from living by the sea. For Robyn, the prospect of leaving the childcare support of family worries her. Can their budget stretch to a house where family can come and stay for long periods, or is their dream of a simple life in Cornwall more complicated than they realise?
