Sally Brothers-Taylor is on the cusp of retiring, and the prospect has made her think about the next chapter in her life. She wants to downsize and get back to her roots by the sea, indulging her love of craft and walks along the beach. Her husband Gary, meanwhile, isn’t quite so keen on the notion of relocating, and he suspects Sally has her doubts about living further from their grandchildren too. Will a week in East Sussex convince the couple to invest in a sunnier retirement?
