Tír Eoghain: The Unbreakable Bond
Documentary revealing how the seeds of Tyrone’s GAA success were sown 20 years ago by a generation of young men who transformed the history of Gaelic football in the county.
This documentary focuses on the personal experiences and emotions of this unique group of minors who along with their manager, Mickey Harte, graduated to the Tyrone under-21s where they won two All-Irelands, culminating in the 2003 Senior Football Championship triumph. It also shows how an extraordinary series of personal tragedies bonded a particular group of young men and how they triumphed in the face of adversity.
Sa scannán faisnéise seo, dírítear ar eispéiris agus ar mhothúcháin an ghrúpa uathúil seo d’imreoirí mionúir a bhog suas chuig foireann Faoi 21 Thír Eoghain maraon lena mbainisteoir, Mickey Harte, mar ar bhain siad dhá chluiche Uile-Éireann, agus cuireadh an scraith mhullaigh air sin nuair a bhain siad Craobhchomórtas Sinsear na hÉireann sa Pheil sa bhliain 2003. Léiríonn an scannán faisnéise an dóigh a ndearna sraith neamhghnách de thragóidí pearsanta an grúpa ar leith seo d’fhir óga a nascadh le chéile agus an dóigh a bhfuair siad an bua in ainneoin na gconstaicí uilig a bhí le sárú acu.
