There is more bad news for the Aldridges, and Will is left fuming.
Emma upsets Nic when Nic discovers she's stolen the Bulls' Mr and Mrs quiz idea for Valentines night. Nic admits to Jolene that she only told Emma about the quiz because she didn't think they were still going ahead with it. Jolene is annoyed, they were always going to do the quiz, in fact Kenton's upstairs working on it right now!
Later, when Nic tells Will about it, he's in two minds to go to Grange Farm and tell Emma exactly what he thinks, she had no right to steal the Bulls' idea and now it's got Nic into trouble with her employers. Will thinks Emma is jealous because they've got something most couples dream of, they always put each other first. Nic's chuffed, Will's never normally so open with his emotions.
Brian asks Neil to take a trip down memory lane - he's keen to find who worked on Home Farm in the 70s (when the toxic drums were dumped), Neil remembers a man called Young Bob.
Justin takes the Parish Council around a tour of Berrow Farm's new pig unit and is impressed by Neil's questions.
Justin tells Brian he was gobsmacked when, at the award ceremony for Borsetshire Businessperson of The Year, they announced the winner and Martyn Gibson stepped up. They airbrushed you out of the whole event, he tells Brian. Furthermore, the BL Board are outraged by all the publicity from the contamination. People are panicking, Justin continues, in their eyes the toxic dumping implies wilful neglect. No one care how long ago it was only that it has happened. The whole situation is at complete odds with the image of a reliable stewardship that BL craves, because any more bad publicity and the Board will vote you out.
