Tom puts himself forward, and Rex is feeling bold.

Rex meets Anisha for a run. She invites him to the Hunt puppy show that Shula is judging but Rex can't make it, he'll be at Silverstone that day. It wasn't meant to be, shrugs Anisha. But Rex isn't prepared to accept that. If there's something between them, they should find out by going on a proper date. They agree to go for dinner next week.

Tom and Helen hope to convince Tony to sell land to Justin by showing him how Bridge Farm would benefit from the investment. They could afford a whole new building, with space for cheese processing, demonstrations, and even practical courses. When Tony starts to see how well this could work for them all, he agrees to the sale. Tom volunteers to tell Justin.

David's impressed by Josh and Rex's work fixing up a drill for Ambridge Farm Machinery. The improvement is mainly cosmetic but Josh hopes it will boost its sale price. The business is really taking off, and Josh won't have time to keep it going and return to studying. David insists he'll have to find a way, even if he has to put the business on ice. But Josh needs to talk to his parents about university. He's already given up his place.
