Justin hears it straight from the horses mouth, and Freddie is fed up with his lot.
Elizabeth finds Freddie sneaking into Lower Loxley. He admits he messed up his French paper. She hopes he'll start his revision again straight away. Her suggestion that he can take a half-hour break - without his phone or laptop - does not go down well. Freddie is convinced she will keep making him resit GCSE Maths until he goes completely mad!
Rex and Anisha run up Lakey Hill. They haven't seen each other for a while. Any previous awkwardness is forgotten and they agree to meet at the pub on Wednesday.
Justin has hired Anthea Jennings as his PA. She's a sensible, mature woman. But he was surprised by one of her references; Lilian hadn't mentioned that Anthea used to work for Amside. Lilian assures him this was merely in the interests of impartiality.
Lilian rides to Lower Loxley without Justin, who's been called to another meeting. She meets Freddie and Elizabeth. Freddie has done a maths practice paper, and found it very hard. Freddie moans how unfair it is that he still has exams when Johnny is off to the Isle of Wight Festival.
After his meeting Justin runs into Matt. Latif has invested in the racecourse consortium Matt is working for. Justin is determined to investigate further.
