Adam considers his future at Home Farm, and Lilian is at a loose end.

At a loose end with Justin away, Lilian drops in at Home Farm, but Jennifer's out. When Lilian asks Brian if he'd like to have coffee he quickly remembers he's got some training for the new system he's bought from Alice's company.

Deciding to pass the time with a horse ride, at the Stables Lilian hears from Shula how David and Ruth are taking responsibility for IBR in the village. They look in on the pony that was dumped at Ambridge Hall and it dashes out of the stable, treading on Shula's foot as she goes.

Adam and Brian try out their new drone. Brian's keen for Ruairi to have a go as well. Later, Brian takes Adam through his plan to turn the Home Farm business into a family partnership. In principle, Adam thinks it sounds great but later with Ian he voices his reservations about him and Debbie having equal shares when she does none of the hard work that he does. Furthermore, Adam is conscious of how long he has before he retires; he must maximise his influence there while he can.
