Brookfield needs to dig deeper, and Kenton strikes a deal.

After taking financial advice Brian informs Jennifer the best way forward is to turn Home Farm into a family partnership. All the children would feel they had a real stake in the farm. Jennifer thinks it's a good idea. Though whether all five children will agree, Brian's not sure.

Toby is angry with Pip for not telling him exactly where she was last night. Pip hasn't got the head space to have an argument. She points out the double standard; he's disappeared plenty of times in the past. Later, upset Pip mis-times an attempt to make up with Ruth, who cuts her off - she needs to get to the farmhouse to find out if the Bridge Farm Archers are going to sue.

Apprehensive Toby suggests to Kenton he'd like them to work together after all. He presents Scruff Gin, with a label designed by Lily. Kenton likes it and confirms he's happy to invest.

Pat explains to Ruth and David the money they've offered as compensation for the IBR isn't enough. Relieved there won't be legal action, David declares they'll cover whatever it costs to rebuild Tony's herd. After Pat leaves Ruth points out they've escaped being sued, but they're now going to owe way more money than they can afford. Where are they going to find it?
