Lilian calls in at the Stables and takes a look at the injured pony. Shula admits she can't help getting a little attached to the animal. Lilian heads off to be around when Justin returns from London, he sounded quite stressed on the phone.

Grumpy Justin informs Lilian that Miranda has secured the top divorce barrister in London. She wants half of everything, including Damara. Lilian soothes Justin; he needs to keep a clear head. Yes, alright, concedes Justin. But Miranda's not getting her hands on Damara.

Alice finds Pip in a state over a flat tyre and helps her to mend it. Pip has dinner with Chris and Alice and feels a bit better after Alice assures her everyone makes mistakes. Alice shares her mistake of accidentally copying her manager in on a dodgy email about a client. She swears them to secrecy over the escaped cows. They receive news that the injured pony's on its feet. They visit her and suggest Shula names the pony Gem.

Later, Pip's reluctant to go home. Chris suggests she stays over with them to take the pressure off. Things will probably ease with Toby once Pip sorts things out with her mum. Pip sighs that surely things can only get better.
