Emma sets her sights on the future, and Anisha oversteps the mark.

Josh admits to Rex that he can't keep up with the workload of his business without him. Rex declares he'll come back if he gets a proper apology and a decent salary. They haggle before reaching an agreement and Rex gets to work on the backlog of calls. Later, Rex asks Josh about Pip; he's noticed she seemed down when he saw her. Josh almost spills the beans.

With Ed on a rare day off, he and Emma enjoy time together. Ed's been offered work managing Adam's cattle, which they agree is great but it won't be enough for Emma to give up her job at the chicken factory. She's keen to start saving for a place of their own. Ed's not sure anywhere will be as nice as Grange Farm.

Alistair can't find anything wrong with Bartleby, who is off his food. Joe wants a second opinion from Anisha. Alistair's glad Anisha's a hit with at least one of their older clients. He's angry with her for upsetting Peggy over her cat, and even more frustrated at Anisha's lack of contrition. He point outs that small animal clients can be hugely influential and need to be treated well. Once Anisha's reflected on this she apologises for offending Peggy and promises to talk to her. Alistair suggests tomorrow at The Bull might be a good time, at Lilian and Justin's engagement celebration which is open to all.
