Fallon gets an unexpected reaction, and Lilian is not to be disturbed.
Fallon and Helen enjoy a good gossip about the bad behaviour of Grange Farm's most recent B&B guests, and about Jennifer's need for a hangover cure - for someone else.
Adam and Brian discuss the hiring of fruit pickers for the new season. Adam's finding it tricky but he's confident the enterprise will remain viable. Adam remarks things seem pretty final between Lilian and Justin. Brian observes she's always been reckless when it comes to relationships. He just hopes the whole business doesn't muddy their relationship with Justin. He tells Adam there's another cloud on the horizon for Lilian; Peggy wants to see her.
Jazzer's surprised to come across Kirsty going for a very early morning walk. She insists the sun's coming up; she wants to enjoy the day. They meet again in the Tearoom, where Fallon tells Kirsty about Harrison's plan to recruit women for the cricket team. Kirsty's offended she hasn't been asked and storms out. She bumps into Helen and tearfully admits she can't stop thinking about her baby. She feels she didn't want him enough, so losing him must be her fault. Helen reassures her; it was tragic but she didn't cause it. Recovering, Kirsty decides to ask for time off work. But first she needs to apologise to Fallon.
