David tries to make amends, and Brian looks to cheer up Adam.

Jill thinks if it wasn't for Toby startling her she wouldn't have hurt her ankle. Meanwhile, she doesn't want to be waited on. David reports Kenton has off-loaded Lily's driving practise onto him. David is pleased to take on Lily rather than Freddie, commenting on Kenton's inability to see things through. Ruth snaps at Jill over her criticism of Toby.

Brian's pleased to have knocked down Justin's price for the Estate land to £2.5m. After looking over the figures again, Brian tells Adam he can continue with the herbal leys trial after all. Brian admits he made a mistake - it doesn't make sense to end it now.

Ruth and David discuss the good news for Pip that she can continue mob grazing at Home Farm and the problems Jill's intransigence over Toby is causing. David drops in on Pip and Toby and apologises to Toby for Jill's lack of gratitude for taking care of her after her fall. Toby can't understand why all of the family are being so nice to him - it was nothing. But Pip is annoyed that Jill still can't acknowledge Toby's good deed when everyone else can.
