Emma hopes to clear the air, and Brian has a go at giving marital advice.
Adam's feeling under siege over his marital problems. Brian assures him he's not apportioning blame, and that he'll do anything he can to help. But Adam protests that he is indeed the one at fault, and he needs to sort it out with Ian. He still loves him, but he's not sure whether Ian feels the same way.
As edgy Rob waits in the Ambridge Tearoom for his contact visit with Jack, Emma makes her excuses and goes to see Helen. She apologises for her stint working for Rob; she feels guilty about taking money from that terrible man. On the contrary, replies Helen, she has done her a favour. She'd much rather Henry was spending time with Emma than with Rob. Emma's relieved. Helen's worried her time away from Henry might have affected their relationship. Emma reminds Helen that she hardly saw her own mum when she was in prison. She admits she missed her and felt confused and angry, but now she and Susan have never been closer. Helen concedes that maybe she should stop worrying.
Rob arrives early for his contact visit. Irritated Pat confides to Jazzer that she's finding the whole situation very difficult. The worst thing is, Rob's got clean away with what he's done, and there's nothing they can do about it.
