Friday Night Is Music Night presents a special edition to remember the great broadcaster, David Jacobs, who would have been 90 this week. With West End star singers Hannah Waddingham, Rodney Earl Clarke, Gary Williams and Michael Ball. Mike Dixon conducts the sixty piece BBC Concert Orchestra in a programme that will feature many of David Jacobs favourites including the overture to 'Mack and Mabel', 'I Won't Send Roses', 'On The Street Where You Live', 'They Can't Take That Away From Me', '76 Trombones' and many more. Presented by David Jacobs daughter, the actress Emma Jacobs.
This concert was first broadcast in May last year, on what would have been David's 90th birthday.
