Britain's Best New Building: RIBA Stirling Prize 2014

David Sillito reports on the shortlisted buildings - including the winner - for this year's RIBA Stirling Prize, one of the most prestigious awards in architecture.

The shortlisted buildings are the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool, the Library of Birmingham, the London Aquatics Centre in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Saw Swee Hock Student Centre at the London School of Economics, the Manchester School of Art and the Shard.
