Welsh Weight Clinic - The Next Generation

Cameras follow three of the youngest patients ever to be admitted to Wales's only weight management clinic: 34 stone James, bride-to-be Haike and Stacey from Blaenafon.

Showing as part of Live Longer Wales, three of the youngest patients at Wales's only weight management clinic battle against obesity. With one in three Welsh youngsters overweight or obese, the clinic is seeing increasing numbers of the next generation coming through the doors, and it is far from an easy fight. Thirty-four stone James from Aberdare also has to deal with several other complex conditions, and his motivation has taken a nosedive. Is surgery the answer or can he be inspired by a David Beckham lookalike weight loss coach? Haike wants to wow family and friends in her wedding dress next year, but that means drastic changes to diet and exercise now. Will the clinic's scales have a happy tale to tell? Meanwhile Stacey from Blaenafon has a mountain to climb as she battles depression alongside her weight problems. Will she be able to overcome her soft drink and crisp habit?
