Tosh Afanasiev wanted to move to Australia, but wife Louise had reservations. Two years after they spent a trial week in Sydney, Nicki Chapman finds out if they moved for good.
Tosh and Louise Afanasiev had both spent time in Australia before they met. Tosh dreamt of returning there with Louise and their two sons, Ruben and Ike, but Louise wasn't so sure. She worried about denying her children regular contact with their doting grandparents.
On their trial week, the Afanasievs discovered just how expensive property in Sydney could be and Louise was heartbroken when she viewed messages from friends and family back home in the UK. So, two years on, are the Afanasievs still in the UK or enjoying a new life on the other side of the world?
