Consumer series in which barrister Gary Bell QC guides claimants through the small claims court. Sue Williams feels she was misled over a marina for her narrowboat.
Gary Bell QC visits Sue Williams in the Midlands. She changed her life, bought a narrowboat and headed off to what she thought was going to be a new home, a state-of-the-art marina. However, the marina was not all that she had been led to believe, and when she complained she was kicked out and had to find a new home. Now Sue wants to be compensated for her loss.
The second complainant is Jan Koutris, who replied to an advert for what she believed was a modelling agency to propel her daughter into a new and lucrative career. But it was a scam - and Jan and other victims want their money back.
