Chefs compete to cook at a banquet to celebrate 25 years of Red Nose Day. Will the winning main course be an African inspired goat tagine, a beef dish or a duck dish?

Great British Menu is back and the nation's greatest chefs are competing to cook at a special banquet at the Royal Albert Hall to celebrate 25 years of Comic Relief's Red Nose Day and celebrate the unsung heroes of charity work. Not only do they have to deliver a performance on a plate to win, they will also have to put a smile on everyone's face. The chefs will also be set fundraising challenges to raise money for Comic Relief. Also, each week a special guest will also join the judging triumviate.

The competition heats up as the three returning Scottish contenders, Michael Smith, Tony Singh and Mark Greenaway, cook their main courses. An African inspired goat tagine, a beef dish inspired by a childhood cartoon and a duck dish with a comedy twist are dished up for veteran judge Angela Hartnett MBE.
