Slack Sabbaths?
Writer and presenter Peter Curran takes a look at the role that religion now plays in the lives of the people of Northern Ireland, and discovers how the city has transformed.
Writer and presenter Peter Curran returns to Northern Ireland to take a wry and amusing look at how we now spend Sundays. Twenty years after leaving Belfast to seek his fortune in London Peter Curran, now a successful Radio 4 producer and presenter, eturns to Northern Ireland to see what role religion plays in people's lives. His memories of locked up swings and packed hurches fade when he realises just how we now spend the Lord's Day. From being a good place to come from, Ulster now looks like a great place to return to.
