The Race to Dover

Cricket correspondent and pilot Jonathan Agnew investigates the 1909 competition to fly across the English Channel. From 2009.

BBC cricket correspondent and keen pilot Jonathan Agnew looks at the race to be the first person to fly across the English Channel in 1909.

Agnew gets the chance to slide into the cockpit of the winning plane flown by Louis Bleriot.

He also finds out what happened to the race favourite - playboy and sportsman, Hubert Latham.
