Comedy starring Danny DeVito and Bette Midler. A cheated couple abduct the wife of a crooked businessman, unaware that she is the last person on earth he would pay to get back.

Slapstick comedy in which a cheated couple kidnap the wife of a crooked businessman, in the sadly mistaken belief that he will cough up $50,000 to get her back.

In fact he is delighted - he was contemplating having her killed anyway. He simply ignores the ransom demand, basking all too briefly in the delusion that he has seen the last of her.
