Bruising action yarn about a tough French Foreign Legionnaire who deserts his post after hearing that his brother is mortally wounded. He flees to New York, where he is forced to enter the world of illegal bare-knuckle boxing under the control of 'the Lady'. However, after Lyon goes against her will, she matches him against the champion - will Lyon find the inner strength to take the championship, or will he die like his brother?
